The Rockets now hold a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Greenville for a District 10 Region 2 bout on Wednesday, October 2. Slippery Rock will play a Trojans squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Hickory moves to 8-3 on the year. The Hornets host Grove City (Grove City, PA) to play the Eagles in a District 10 Region 2 bout on Thursday, October 3.
