Fans at Monday's league battle between the Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) and the visiting Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY), saw Warwick's soccer squad triumph over Monticello by a count of 7-1.

The Wildcats (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Dragons enter the Section 9 Division III battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Cornwall Central was overwhelmed by Valley Central (Montgomery, NY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Washingtonville Wizards (Washingtonville, NY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 1. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Wizards enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY).
