The Highlanders (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, James River beat Radford (Radford, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Auburn will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Maroon Tide come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA).
