In Monday's league challenge, the host Foothills Christian Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Del Lago Academy Firebirds.

The Knights (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph Academy (San Marcos, CA). The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph Academy lost by Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Firebirds play the Maranatha Christian Eagles (San Diego, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. Del Lago Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA).
