The Almont Raiders soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host North Branch Broncos to 0 in the Raiders league victory on Monday.

The Raiders now hold a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Imlay City for a Blue Water Area bout on Wednesday, October 2. Almont will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Armada (Armada, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, North Branch moves to 3-7 on the year. The Broncos travel to Glenn (Bay City, MI) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 3. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 20-0. Glenn won 6-1 in their recent non-league bout against Laker (Pigeon, MI)
