In Monday's league contest, the The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers (Egg Harbor City, NJ) soccer team edged the visiting Atlantic Christian Cougars (Egg Harbor Township, NJ), by a count of 3-2.
Next, the Pioneers battle the Cumberland Christian Crusaders (Vineland, NJ) in a Tri-State Christian contest, on Tuesday, October 1. The Pilgrim Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 8-1 league loss to King's Christian (Cherry Hill, NJ).
