The Mallard Creek Mavericks soccer team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Monday's league match with the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC)

With the triumph, Hough moves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Harding University (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Rams in a Queen City 3A/4A match on Tuesday, October 1. The Rams come into the match with a record of 0-10. Harding University lost 1-0 in their recent league match against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)
