Fans at Monday's league battle between the River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC) and the visiting Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC), saw River Mill's soccer squad knock off Woods Charter by a count of 5-2.

The Jaguars (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC). The Tigers enter the Central Tar Heel 1A battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Triangle Math & Science tipped Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC), 9-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Wolves confront the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A battle, on Wednesday, October 2. Woods Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 0-9 record after their 10-3 league loss to Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC).
