Elsberry Indians (Elsberry, MO) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Silex Owls (Silex, MO), 10-7 in a league game.

With the triumph, Elsberry upgrades its record to 17-5 on the year. The Indians host Highland (Ewing, MO) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 2. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 13-3.

The Owls now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Van-Far for a Eastern Missouri game on Tuesday, October 1.
