The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars (O'Fallon, MO) and the visiting Winfield Warriors (Winfield, MO), observed Fort Zumwalt West's softball team prevail over Winfield by a tally of 11-3.

The Jaguars (19-4) will now prepare for their bout against Howell Central (St. Charles, MO). The Spartans go into the Class 4 District 7 bout with a 11-10 record. In their last bout, Howell Central knocked off Fort Zumwalt South (St. Peters, MO), 6-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Holt Indians (Wentzville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 1. Winfield will attempt to advance on its 15-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 13-8 non-league win over St. Charles West (St. Charles, MO).
