The St. Francis Knights softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Galloway Scots to 1 in the Knights league win on Monday.

The Knights now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Paran Christian for a 1A D-I Region 5 battle on Tuesday, October 1. St. Francis will confront a Eagles team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-10.

With the loss, Galloway moves to 2-8 on the season. The Scots travel to Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA) to confront the War Eagles in a 1A D-I Region 5 battle on Tuesday, October 1. The War Eagles come into the battle with a record of 0-14. Landmark Christian lost 14-1 in their recent league battle against Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA)
