In Monday's non-league test, the Grain Valley Eagles (Grain Valley, MO) softball squad overwhelmed the host Raytown Bluejays (Raytown, MO), by a tally of 18-0.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Fort Osage Indians (Independence, MO) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 1. Grain Valley will attempt to advance on its 27-1 season record.

The Bluejays (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Platte County (Platte City, MO). The Pirates go into the Class 4 District 5 test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Platte County prevailed over Ruskin (Kansas City, MO), 15-0, in a non-league test.
