The Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) softball routed the visiting Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA), 7-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Wolverines now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Jackson for a 2A Region 8 outing on Tuesday, October 1. Prince Avenue Christian will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 20-3 league loss to Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Providence Christian Academy moves to 11-12 on the season. The Storm host Banks County (Homer, GA) to encounter the Leopards in a 1A D-I Region 8 outing on Tuesday, October 1. The Leopards come into the outing with a record of 23-3. Banks County won 14-1 in their recent league outing against Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA)
