Georgia High School Softball - Sequoyah sneaks past Riverwood

The Sequoyah Chiefs softball team scored 1 runs and held the host Riverwood Raiders to 0 in the Chiefs league win on Monday.
The Chiefs now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Creekview for a 5A Region 6 battle on Tuesday, October 1. Sequoyah will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 5-1 league win over Pope (Marietta, GA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 14-7.
With the loss, Riverwood moves to 9-11 on the season. The Raiders host Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to confront the Trojans in a 5A Region 6 battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 16-4. Lassiter won 9-1 in their recent non-league battle against Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA)
