With the win, Tylertown betters its record to 2-21 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Franklin County (Meadville, MS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Franklin County won 3-2 in their recent league bout against South Pike (Magnolia, MS)

With the loss, Amite County drops to 3-11 on the campaign.
