The Amity Regional Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Hand Tigers to 0 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Law for a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset outing on Friday, October 4. Amity Regional will play a Lawmen team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Branford (Branford, CT). The Lawmen record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Hand drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host North Haven (North Haven, CT) to play the Nighthawks in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset outing on Wednesday, October 2. The Nighthawks come into the outing with a record of 5-6. North Haven won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Law (Milford, CT)
