The Auburn Eagles topped the visiting Glenvar Highlanders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) in a Mountain Empire game, on Tuesday, October 1. Auburn will attempt to advance on its 16-0 season record. The Maroon Tide go into the game with a 2-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA).
The Highlanders (5-6) will now prepare for their game against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights go into the Three Rivers game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, James River was dropped by Radford (Radford, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
