In Monday's non-league challenge, the host West Bend-Mallard Wolverines volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears.

The Wolverines (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA). The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Alta-Aurelia was nudged by Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Bears play the Forest City Indians (Forest City, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Bishop Garrigan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-20 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ames (Ames, IA).
