Fans at Monday's league contest between the Monticello Ponies (Monticello, WI) and the visiting Black Hawk Warriors (South Wayne, WI), observed Monticello's volleyball team top Black Hawk by a count of 3-0.

The Ponies (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pecatonica (Blanchardville, WI). The Vikings enter the Six Rivers - Eastern contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Pecatonica was knocked off by Barneveld (Barneveld, WI), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Warriors meet the Argyle Orioles (Argyle, WI) in a Six Rivers - Eastern contest, on Thursday, October 3. Black Hawk will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Orioles enter the contest with a 12-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Albany (Albany, WI).
