California High School Volleyball - Branham can't hold off Christopher

September 30, 2024: Gilroy, CA 95020

In Monday's league match, the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Ann Sobrato Bulldogs (Morgan Hill, CA) in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton match, on Wednesday, October 2. Christopher will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Westmont (Campbell, CA).

The Bruins (14-2) will now prepare for their match against Leigh (San Jose, CA). The Longhorns enter the BVAL - Mt. Hamilton match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Leigh held off Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA), 3-2, in a league match.
