In Monday's league challenge, the host Buckley Griffins volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) Panthers.

The Griffins (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against AGBU (Canoga Park, CA). The Titans enter the Independence challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, AGBU was beaten by Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Milken Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Lighthouse Christian (Santa Monica, CA).
