The Tigers now possess a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Rock Falls for a Big Northern bout on Tuesday, October 1. Byron will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Marengo drops to 12-14 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Woodstock (Woodstock, IL) to clash with the Blue Streaks in a Kishwaukee River bout on Wednesday, October 2. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a record of 8-15. Woodstock won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Westminster Christian (Elgin, IL)
