The Crab Orchard Trojans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Hardin County Cougars to 0 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now have a 11-12 record. They play next when they host Thompsonville for a Greater Egyptian outing on Tuesday, October 1. Crab Orchard will play a team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Carrier Mills-Stonefort (Carrier Mills, IL). The record now stands at 5-18.

With the loss, Hardin County drops to 5-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Pope County (Golconda, IL) to play the Pirates in a Greater Egyptian outing on Wednesday, October 2.
