In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ider Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Crossville Lions.

The Hornets (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakwood Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Oakwood Academy beat Valley Head (Valley Head, AL), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Crossville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Bison enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to North Jackson (Stevenson, AL).
