The Fort Hill Sentinels edged the host Mountain Ridge Miners volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Monday's league game.

Next up, the Sentinels confront the Northern Huskies (Accident, MD) in a Appalachian Mountain game, on Tuesday, October 1. Fort Hill will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Huskies go into the game with a 5-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD).

The Miners (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Southern (Oakland, MD). The Rams go into the Appalachian Mountain game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Southern was edged by Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), 3-1, in a league game.
