The Lafayette County Cougars edged the visiting Harmony Grove Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Foreman Gator Arkansas (Foreman, AR) in a 2A 6 game, on Tuesday, October 1. Lafayette County will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Gator Arkansas go into the game with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Cossatot River (Cove, AR).

The Hornets (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Jessieville (Jessieville, AR). The Lions go into the 3A 6 game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Jessieville nudged Smackover (Smackover, AR), 3-0, in a league game.
