In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Ruidoso Warriors volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Hatch Valley Bears.
The Warriors (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Capitan (Capitan, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Capitan was tipped by Dexter (Dexter, NM), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears meet the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Hatch Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Lobos enter the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).
