In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Varina Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Huguenot Falcons.

The Blue Devils (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Patriots come into the Capital challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Patrick Henry was beaten by Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Falcons meet the Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Huguenot will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Armstrong (Richmond, VA).
