The Prestonsburg Blackcats volleyball squad (Prestonsburg, KY), dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY)

With the win, Johnson Central improves its record to 15-5 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Paintsville (Paintsville, KY) to encounter the Tigers in a District 57 battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 15-9. Paintsville won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY)

The Blackcats now own a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floyd Central for a District 58 battle on Tuesday, October 1. Prestonsburg will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-11.
