In Monday's league match, the McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) volleyball squad overcame the host Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Blue Devils battle the Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet match, on Tuesday, October 1. McDonald will attempt to move on its 16-0 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 5-9 record after their 3-2 league win over Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH).
