Morehead Panthers (Eden, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Reidsville Rams (Reidsville, NC), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Morehead improves its record to 9-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to face the Phoenix in a Mid-State 2A test on Tuesday, October 1. The Phoenix go into the test with a record of 18-2. McMichael won 3-0 in their recent league test against Walkertown (Walkertown, NC)

The Rams now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockingham County for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. Reidsville will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 15-3.
