In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Mount St. Mary Academy Lions volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Voorhees Vikings.

The Lions (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ). The Terriers enter the Skyland - Delaware West challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Delaware Valley got by Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Rutgers Prep Argonauts (Somerset, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Voorhees will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Argonauts enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ).
