In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Pine Bush Bushmen volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks.

The Bushmen (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Beacon (Beacon, NY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Beacon beat Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Goldbacks meet the Marlboro Central Dukes (Marlboro, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. Newburgh Free Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Dukes enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wallkill (Wallkill, NY).
