North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Stokes bounced by Patrick County

September 30, 2024: Danbury, NC 27016

Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they observed their volleyball team top the host North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), 3-0 in a non-league contest.

The Cougars (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders enter the Three Rivers contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Glenvar was knocked off by James River (Buchanan, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Vikings battle the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a Northwest 1A contest, on Tuesday, October 1. North Stokes will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Granite Bears enter the contest with a 5-11 record after their 3-2 league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).
