The Poquoson Islanders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Warhill Lions to 0 in the Islanders league triumph on Monday.

The Islanders now have a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Tabb for a Bay Rivers outing on Thursday, October 3. Poquoson will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to York (Yorktown, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Warhill drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Lions host New Kent (New Kent, VA) to play the Trojans in a Bay Rivers outing on Thursday, October 3. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 13-2. New Kent lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Grafton (Yorktown, VA)
