Fans at Monday's league contest between the Smith Jewish Day School Lions (Rockville, MD) and the visiting Washington Christian Academy Wildcats (Olney, MD), observed Smith Jewish Day School's volleyball team top Washington Christian Academy by a count of 3-0.

The Lions (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Washington International (Washington, DC). The Red Devils enter the PVAC contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Washington International notched a victory over Field (Washington, DC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats battle the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) in a PVAC contest, on Thursday, October 10. Washington Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
