Illinois High School Volleyball - Triopia/Virginia over South County

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Triopia/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL) and the host South County Vipers (Franklin, IL), observed Triopia/Virginia's volleyball team top South County by a count of 2-0.

The Trojans (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL). The Tornadoes enter the Western Illinois Valley contest with a 2-10 record.

Next, the Vipers meet the North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 1. South County will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 3-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL).
