In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Falls Church Jaguars volleyball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Edison Eagles.

With the win, Falls Church advances its record to 9-4 on the season. The Jaguars travel to South Lakes (Reston, VA) to face the Seahawks in a non-league test on Friday, October 3. The Seahawks go into the test with a record of 9-5. South Lakes won 3-0 in their recent league test against Westfield (Chantilly, VA)

The Eagles now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Annandale for a National challenge on Monday, October 6. Edison will play a Atoms team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Atoms record now stands at 2-8.
