The Coal City Coalers topped the host Lisle Lions volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Coalers confront the Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 2. Coal City will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 2-1 league win over Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL).
With the loss, Lisle drops to 3-12 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Peotone (Peotone, IL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a match on Thursday, October 2. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 1-1.
