Arizona High School Flag Football - McClintock crushed by Desert Vista

September 30, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85048

Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ), 56-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Desert Vista improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Thunder travel to Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ) to play the Mountain Lions in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 14. The Mountain Lions go into the battle with a record of 1-2.

The Chargers now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a 5A San Tan test on Thursday, October 2. McClintock will meet a Saints squad coming off a 37-0 league loss to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Saints record now stands at 2-1.
