Simi Valley Pioneers (Simi Valley, CA) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their flag football team nip the visiting Oak Park Eagles (Oak Park, CA), 41-34 in a league match.

The Pioneers (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Burroughs (Burbank, CA). The Bears come into the non-league test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Burroughs was nipped by Windward (Los Angeles, CA), 19-13, in a non-league test.

With the defeat, Oak Park drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Camarillo (Camarillo, CA) to meet the Scorpions in a test on Tuesday, October 7. The Scorpions come into the test with a record of 21-2. Camarillo lost 27-25 in their recent non-league test against Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA)
