Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting Santana Sultans (Santee, CA), 39-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Steele Canyon improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Cougars host Helix (La Mesa, CA) to play the Highlanders in a battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 13-1. Helix won 28-0 in their recent league test against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA)

With the defeat, Santana drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Sultans travel to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA) to meet the Eagles in a test on Thursday, October 2. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 7-3. Granite Hills lost 47-6 in their recent league test against Helix (La Mesa, CA)
