The Comets (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern (Kokomo, IN). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Northwestern tipped Rochester (Rochester, IN), 9-2, in a league battle.
Next up, the Titans confront the Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland battle, on Thursday, October 2. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Blackhawks enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Benton Central (Oxford, IN).
