Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Meade County moves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Green Waves host Ballard (Louisville, KY) to meet the Bruins in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 1. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 5-10. Ballard 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Scott County (Georgetown, KY)

The Cougars now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Muhlenberg County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 30. Grayson County will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-9.
