The Mustangs (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Notre Dame (Chattanooga, TN). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Notre Dame was overwhelmed by Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Cherokees confront the Cleveland Blue Raiders (Cleveland, TN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 2. McMinn County will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record.
