Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the El Dorado Cougars (Placerville, CA) and the visiting Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA), observed El Dorado's volleyball team top Argonaut by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (10-0) will now prepare for their contest against Rosemont (Sacramento, CA). The Wolverines enter the contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Rosemont notched a victory over Galt (Galt, CA), 2-0, in a league contest.

The Mustangs now own a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Mine for a test on Thursday, October 2. Argonaut will face a Diamondbacks squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 13-6.
