North Carolina High School Volleyball - Asheboro over Southeast Guilford

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) and the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), observed Asheboro's volleyball team top Southeast Guilford by a tally of 2-0.

The Blue Comets (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Providence Grove was defeated by Trinity (Trinity, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now own a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast Guilford for a test on Thursday, October 2. Southeast Guilford will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-5.
