With the win, Ashley improves its record to 7-7 on the season. The Screaming Eagle travel to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to encounter the Wildcats in a test on Thursday, October 2. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 14-4. New Hanover won 2-0 in their recent league test against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)

The Scorpions now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pender for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 6. North Brunswick will meet a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 league win over Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 11-7.
