North Carolina High School Volleyball - Highland Tech over Cherryville

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) and the host Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), saw Highland Tech's volleyball squad notch a victory over Cherryville by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Highland Tech improves its record to 9-6 on the season. The Rams travel to Burns (Lawndale, NC) to encounter the Bulldogs in a battle on Wednesday, October 1. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 10-2. Burns lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC)

In their next game, the Ironmen encounter the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) in a contest, on Wednesday, October 1. Cherryville will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Storm enter the contest with a 11-5 record after their 2-1 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
