With the win, Eastern Montgomery improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Narrows (Narrows, VA) to play the Green Waves in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. The Green Waves come into the outing with a record of 5-1. Narrows won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against George Wythe (Wytheville, VA)

The Celtics (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Chatham Hall (Chatham, VA). The Turtles go into the game with a 2-5 record.
